Oyun, çocukların eğlenceli faaliyetlerinden biridir. Çocuğun olduğu her alanda ve zamanda oyun etkinlikleri bulunmaktadır. Oyun, çocuğu eğitim ve öğrenimini, hayal gücünü, yaratıcılığını geliştirme, bilgi ve becerilerini değerlendirme, anlama gibi alanlara katkı sağlamaktadır. Oyun ve oyun türleri çocuğun gelişiminde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Çocuğun psikolojik, fizyolojik, motor ve becerilerini geliştirdiği gibi davranışlarına da büyük etki etmektedir. Bu derleme çalışmasının amacı, çocukluğun ilk dönemlerinden itibaren oynanan oyun türlerinin çocuğun kişilik gelişimine ve davranış şekillerine yaptığı etkinin araştırılmasıdır. Bu kapsamda oyun türlerinin, çocuğu sosyalleştirdiği, olumlu sosyal davranışlarını geliştirdiği, empati becerilerini arttırdığı, özgüven ve kendini anlama yeteneklerini geliştirdiği saptanmıştır.

Play is one of the fun activities of children. There are play activities in every area and time where the child is present. The game contributes to the fields such as the education and learning of the child, developing his imagination, creativity, evaluating and understanding his knowledge and skills. Play and game types play an important role in the development of the child. It not only improves the child's psychological, physiological, motor and skills, but also has a great impact on his behavior. The aim of this compilation study is to investigate the effects of the types of games played from the early childhood on the personality development and behavior patterns of the child. In this context, it has been determined that play types socialize the child, develop prosocial behaviors, increase empathy skills, and improve self-confidence and self-understanding abilities.
